Before we tell you more about our business, let’s start with a few words about what Hourglass Boutiques isn’t…
Hourglass Boutiques isn’t a big business run by stuffy London gents in grey suits!
Hourglass Boutiques isn’t an ultra-exclusive retailer, where you need a Kardashian-sized bank balance, just to get through the front door!
And Hourglass Boutiques definitely isn’t one of those body-shaming brands that like to say all women should look the same!
Nope…
Hourglass Boutiques is a refreshingly unique business, run by Catherine and Louise – two curvy-and-proud-of-it mums from Barnsley, with a passion for helping real women look and feel their very best. The business has blossomed from modest beginnings – think clothes parties and a local market stall – and today includes two womenswear boutiques (in Barnsley and Sheffield) and a vibrant online shop.
If you drop by the boutiques today, you’ll still find Catherine and Louise, proudly keeping it real and running things with their trademark hands-on approach. It’s taken a lot of work, but the journey has been worth it, and with the support of assistant Paula, the only way is up for the Hourglass Boutiques!
